It's called Thaddeus, and for good reason, as it appears identical to RH's original version. That's where the difference ends. The finish is nowhere near the quality of RHs version, and the light quality is terrible. In the specs, it states the fixture uses a 5W G9 bulb, but it does not, it uses a candle based 3000 Kelvin temp bulb, unlike the beautiful RH version 2700 kelvin. The light it gives off is cold, almost flourescent. Is it a significant price difference, yes. But is the savings worth it, no. I own 3 RH Thaddeus light fixtures. Although this looks to be the same, it is not.
Bought it kind of on a whim—ended up ordering two more. They add this quiet elegance to every piece. Our hallway art finally has its moment!
I’m in love with the way it looks now, but just a heads-up—it’s heavy and needs professional installation. Took two electricians and a tall ladder, but once it was up, all I could say was: WOW. Looks like something you'd see in a high-end NYC loft.
I spent good money on my prints and they were just sitting there looking… flat. This light changed everything. Colors pop, details show up. Honestly feels like I’m honoring the art now.
